HOW IT WORKS

What we are working on

01
THE PROBLEM
Before a used battery can be reused or recycled, someone has to know its condition. That takes testing and the rules for used batteries are getting stricter.
02
OUR APPROACH
Measure first. We test used cells and packs and document the results, so the holder can choose between reuse and recycling with data in hand.
03
WHERE WE ARE
We are early. The problem is clear. The business model is still evolving and we are testing it step by step.
WHY NOW

The regulatory and market moment

9 DEC 2026
Used lithium-ion cells become hazardous waste under the amended European waste list. Absolute, with no assessment either side of the line.
MSZ EN 18061
The European standard for assessing EV batteries for reuse and repurposing, adopted in Hungary in 2026. Our protocol is being built to match it.
2023/1542
The EU Battery Regulation, the framework the standard and the reuse rules sit inside.
